What is your assessment of the emergence of betting platforms as sponsors within the football industry?

I view it as a fresh chance for Irish soccer, considering that in other nations, particularly in Europe, it has long been regarded as a lucrative business prospect. From my perspective, it presents a favorable option for all stakeholders involved.

As an assistant, I understand that in sports, particularly in football, generating revenue is crucial for clubs. The proper utilization of this revenue is equally important, whether it is for improving infrastructure or strengthening the team. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance performance and achieve better results, which is a key consideration for any sports investor.

Even more crucial is the bond that this particular sector forms with the wider audience, encompassing both casual and expert gamblers, who, to some extent, drive the success of the soccer industry.

A great deal! Particularly thanks to the regulatory framework that granted access to the Irish market, and everything else followed suit!

Since these companies started investing in football, a whole new culture has emerged among the population who previously had limited knowledge about the sports betting market. This has led to a significant surge in the consumption of these products.

What kind of involvement does the club have with the betting establishment that supports it?

In order to create a more engaging experience for fans on game days, we are seeking to implement interactive sponsor activities that go beyond the mere placement of the brand logo on shirts. Our aim is to provide opportunities for supporters to become familiar with the market and establish a connection with sponsors. By fostering a comfortable and relaxed environment, we can also offer a form of mindful entertainment.

Do you think it's advantageous for marketing purposes to establish partnerships with multiple betting establishments? If so, what are the reasons behind such a strategy?

In my opinion, opting for sponsorships from the same industry poses challenges as conflicting segments and interests make it challenging to manage such situations. Therefore, we prefer not to pursue this path and instead opt for a single sponsor.

Do you think football clubs will gain any advantages through the regulation of betting? If so, why?

Certainly, the implementation of regulations will pave the way for numerous opportunities and instill market confidence in the realm of sports betting, encouraging investments in Irelandian football.
